"Genevrier" is a self-contained luxury apartment, being the lower half of a modern, stylish detached villa. It is situated in 2 acres of tended and stocked gardens on a Dordogne hillside, facing south over stunning countryside. The long-distance views from its terraces, private garden and exclusive pool are truly delightful.
Close to the Charente border, midway between Angouleme and Perigueux, "Genevrier" is just 500 km from St.Malo and 800 km from Calais. Bergerac, Limoges, Poitiers and Bordeaux airports are all within 2 hours' drive.
Several pretty villages are within walking/cycling distance with market towns, chateaux, rivers and sporting activities within 30 minutes' drive. Several bars and super restaurants abound. This is the lush, green part of France with country lanes, sleepy villages and rolling wooded valleys; one of the sunniest regions without being oppressively hot.

| Genévrier comprises one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a full bath/shower room and is suitable for up to 4 adults or a small family. A cot with duvet, high chair and baby bath are available, if required.
A comfortably furnished sitting / dining room in modern, colourful style opens out through wide French windows onto a large covered and furnished terrace. Satellite television / video, radio / cd player are installed. There is a plentiful supply of books, cds, videos and board games.
The modern, all-electric kitchen includes a 4-ring ceramic hob, cooker, auto washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer & microwave.
"Genevrier" is well furnished throughout with good quality beds, pretty curtains, rugs and pictures, and beautifully decorated.
Accommodation is all on one level with parking alongside. However, the surrounding area is quite hilly and not suitable for wheelchairs.
The 8m X 4m x 1.4m mosaic swimming pool in the large garden is south facing and surrounded by mature trees, flower gardens and planted tubs. The pool is fenced with a gate. The long distance views are quite stunning.
Your private swimming pool, own entrance, driveway, and separate gardens with a children's swing, make for a safe, quiet and satisfying holiday. There are several sun beds, garden furniture, parasols and a charcoal barbecue.
On adjacent land, there is a small wood for short walks and a flat grassy field for ball games. There is some sports equipment on site (principally for children) including volleyball, badminton, boules etc. From September 2003 we shall have a shared full-size petanque court.
