	A restored farmhouse in the hamlet of La Chataignade, only 4km from the 'beautiful' market town of Brantome and the village of Champagnac de Belair.
The villages of Villars with its cave paintings, St Jean de Cole (one of the most beautiful villages in France) and Puyguilhem with its Chateau are all within a short distance. Shops , restaurants and leisure pursuits can be found nearby. The house has splendid views as it is situated on the top of a small hill and looks across fields and woodland. The large covered terrace runs the length of the house and down to the garden. There are garden tables and chairs and a barbecue.
The house comprises of a fully fitted kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine, a large living / dining room with French doors leading on to the covered terrace and a large stone fireplace housing a woodburning stove. A double bedroom with en suite shower room ( shower , hand basin, and W.C )and a twin bedroom also with en suite shower room. This property has been awarded * 5 Globes Commended * by World One Call for the year 2003 based on the feed back from previous guests during year 2002.
