	Our beautiful Gite is set in four and a half acres of meadows and trees in a valley in the heart of the French countryside, surrounded by sundrenched grapevines and sunflowers, meandering streams and beautiful lakes, where you can fish or swim, some have watersports facilities, the area is also ideal for cycling, golf, horse riding and walking. All this combined makes our house the perfect holiday destination to relax in and let the stress and strains just float away.
The Gite is part of a Coaching Inn and still retains the stables, part of the old forge and the huge garages where the coach would enter for the horses to be changed.Wine and Cognac were also produced and the old Alambic ( for distilling Cognac ) still remains. Complimentary tours of local producers can be arranged. Our Gite which is open all year comprises of ground floor, lounge/diner (app. 6Mx4M) kitchen (app.6Mx2.5M) and bathroom. First floor open plan twin bedroom (almost 6Mx4M) and large double bedroom same size. Sleeps 4/6 extra single beds, cot, high chair and play pen available, and has its own patio furniture barbecue and tunnel for shade, as we are the second sunniest area in France with our own microclimate. Our large 14 M x 7 M enclosed pool is also very welcome and a favourite with children and adults alike. All bedding, towels, gas and electric are included in the price. There is also a welcome pack for you when you arrive. We are two miles from the village, with bar, general store and bread shop or five miles from the nearest town where the supermarket is open on a Sunday morning. Please see also ref. This property has been awarded World One Call * 5 Globes * for 2001 based on the feedback from previous guests during 2000. This is the second year running that this property has achieved a high accreditation.
